A Letter to the Version of Me Who Was Stuck

Dear Me,

I see you. Sitting there, overthinking everything. You’ve got that ache — that restless tug that says you’re meant for more — but you don’t know what to do with it. So you stay put. Waiting. Wondering. Worrying.

I remember how loud the fear used to be.
Fear of failing.
Fear of looking foolish.
Fear of starting and not finishing.
Fear that maybe… I didn’t really have what it takes.

I wish someone had told me that the fear doesn’t go away — you just stop letting it drive.

The truth is, every single breakthrough in my life started with discomfort. Every chapter I’m proud of began in uncertainty. And the version of me I love today only exists because I finally stopped waiting for confidence and started moving with courage.

You’re not broken. You’re not behind. You’re just standing at the edge of something new — and yes, it’s scary. But the scariest thing? Staying stuck in a life that doesn’t light you up.

Start small. Start shaky. Start with your hands trembling if you must. But start.

You don’t have to know the whole path. You just need to take the next brave step.

I believe in you.
And one day, not too far from now,
you’ll thank yourself for choosing movement over fear.

With love and deep respect,
Me — but freer

If you’ve ever felt stuck too — or if you’re in it right now — I’d love to hear from you in the comments. What’s your “next brave step”?

And if this resonated with you, stay close — the next post is all about how I stopped waiting for clarity and started building momentum, one messy step at a time.
